So I finished my National Novel Writing Month book. It's a little over 100,000 words and I wrote it in 20 days (Nov 5 - Nov 25). The last five days of the month I worked on a VERY quick edit (which I'm pretty sure didn't work), a cover, interior formatting and now I'm done with it.
For a single month of work, I think it's halfway decent. It's available here (http://www.lulu.com/content/5076668) for purchase. I'm not charging for profit because the nature of the book isn't one that should cost money. It should be shared because it is meant to entertain.
It's a prototypical fantasy story in many ways about a man who leaves a normal life when destiny pulls him by the hair into adventure. The bulk of the story is a traveler's tale of him and his six companions who add depth to the world they live in.
If anyone gets it, I hope you enjoy it!
