When I opened the first page and saw the dedication. I am a christian who happens to have just finished his first sci fi novel.

I'm currently working up Query packets for agents and should have the first batch on their way early April.

Thanks Lee for being a pathfinder. Much appreciated.

Solid stories and writing BTW. Well done.

I have to chime in here. I felt the exact same way when I stumbled upon Lee's work. However, I went a step further. I STOLE HIS EDITOR! :)

Much love and respect to Lee. He's our HERO! Good luck with your writing Dentatus. If all else fails, SELF-PUBLISH!

Thanks all. I'm currently working with an Editor. I've got my first 50 pages (Writing Sample) as polished as can be, and I'm hammering away at the 1 page Synopsis and Query/Cover letter. I want them to be as flawless, as smooth, as possible. But in the end - after I've done what I know to do - it's up to God.

We'll see what happens, but I think it best at this point to pursue an Agent.

The packets will go out by Apr. 17, and while I'm waiting to hear back/ followup, I'll continue to revise/polish the balance of the MS, first on my own, then send it off to my Editor.

It's tedious and exciting at the same time.

oh yeah... and if it gets accepted, I'll have to ask Lee for one of those inside cover endorsements. :D

Sounds like you're starting on the same mission I did back when I first tried to get my work published. All I can say is "good luck". I hope it happens for you. Personally, I ended up self-publishing at Lulu.com. I'm REALLY happy I did. It feels good to have a novel out worldwide.
