Wow, what a great book. I read a lot of sci-fi and military and this book was great. Can't wait for the other 6 to come!!!

I'm reading it for the second time and formulating my theories... you pick up a lot of little stuff that you miss when you read it the first time.

This did not at all read like a first novel. The character development is great. As a Texan, I can say that you did a good job with Jayden. :) I really got a sense of being immersed in the world you've created here Lee. I enjoyed the ending (without giving away any spoilers....) -- it just reached a natural stopping point and the next book can pick up right where this one left off. I've already raved about this book enough to get a friend to purchase it.
If there were any flaws in the book at all, I'd have to say that this is the only one I've noticed: Having to wait for the next one to come out.
Anyway, congratulations on a wonderful first novel. Keep up the good work!

I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the book, Aaron! We've got exciting things planned for this series, and DOD was only the beginning. But you've still got a good little wait ahead of you to find out what else we've got in store.
Welcome to the community, and make yourself at home. It's our hope that this place continues to grow into a place that thrives not only on Epic discussion, but as a friendly neighborhood as well.
Special thanks for passing word of the book on to your friend, too! Word of mouth is always the best ally a novel can have, especially when it's starting out small-scale, like ours.

Had to special order the book, got it last night, read half of it this morning.
Hot-damn is all I have to say. I mean I have been told I eat books when I like them, but I could barley put this one down!
Only problem with reading this fast, I have to wait longer to read the next one.
Brilliant stuff, hoping to spread the word about it myself.

Hey everyone!
Just thought I'd make my hello here. I'm just now getting the book, but knew about it and this site when it got up and running. I guess I'm just now going to make a commitment to the forum. I can't wait to read it - it sounds right on par with my taste.

I just got my copy back from a friend and I hope to finish it soon. I definitely plan on re-reading it prior to the release of book 2, Outlaw Trigger. Nice title, btw, Lee.

Welcome to the board all. It's nice to know more people are reading the book. Whatever it takes to drum up attention to this is in order. Lee's got a FANTASTIC story line and has done a great job! I'm in.

I'm new to the board here and thought I'd say hello. I just ordered the book and paid extra to have it shipped overnight after reading all of the comments both here and at Amazon. This genre really isn't what I usually get in to, but from all the positive things people are saying, I'm really looking forward to reading it. I'll have more to say after I read the book.....

Indeed, the book is an awesome read. Lee you have offically become one of my favorite all time authors. Next to Timothy Zahn and Stephen King, not behind them nor in front but rather beside. Confusing, yes but I wanted to make a point. I've read many Science fiction books and a few other books in general of course and I'm excited to say I have extremely high hopes for the rest of these books. I've already begun referring several of my friends to buy and read the book. Brillant job man, im awaiting the next book ;)

Received the book on Friday, finished Sunday morning at 4am. Couldn't put the book down once I started. I'm definetly looking forward to OT in December...

That's how I felt... I'm also not usually a sci-fi genre reader... but this one hits the nail on the head. Loved it, and can't wait for OT.
