This is a very brief note to keep you guys up to par with the progress of Outlaw Trigger.
The production phase of OT is officially underway in all aspects. For the past week and a half, it's been in the hands of my designer, Fiona. She's sent me several composite layouts, and we'll soon be deciding which one to work with. Once we get that detailed, the work will pass to Francois for the artwork. As soon as we have a cover set in stone, it will be posted on the site.
Today I sent OT to Arlene, my editor. She'll be giving it a thorough read-through over the course of the next few weeks, at which point she'll ship it back to me to finalize the changes.
Sales are still going decently for DOD, though to be honest, much of the focus on this end has been getting OT prepared for production. Now that that's done, a little promotion is in order yet again.
Remember to spread the word to people you know! As a publishing company, we can spend thousands of dollars on advertisements, appearances, and promotional deals. But none of it compares to word-of-mouth recommendations from bona fide fans.
The tentative release date for OT is Q1 of 2008. Though bits and pieces might sneak out between now and then...
Not saying. Just saying!
P.S. - I haven't forgotten about updating my writer's blog Q&A. That will be coming soon. For those who aren't aware of it, you can check it out HERE (http://epicuniverse.blogspot.com/). Feel free to submit questions, pertaining to any aspect of writing, or of Epic!
