Thank you, everyone! It was a fantastic birthday weekend on this side of the monitor, courtesy of my amazing family. Saturday my fiancée took me out on all-day excursion, capped off with a birthday celebration at the future in-laws. Monday, my actual birthday, my own family treated me to a great get-together at the house (my fiancée surprised me by showing up for that as well, on a day when she had to work).

Overall, a great birthday weekend!

I'm a day late (but not a dollar short)... HAPPY BIRTHDAY buddy! Sounds like it was a great one :) So how many candles did you have to blow out this year?

Literally, only one. :) But technically, twenty-six! Thirty doesn't seem as old as it used to.

We started getting lazy around the house, with so many family members living close that we got an entire set of "numeral" candles (0-9) and we just re-use them now... And I'll tell you, thirty doesn't seem very old. I turned 30 this year and don't really feel any different than I did at 26, so you're safe. heh
