Alright, I won a "bragging rights" contest for Pictures from Paradise in our local newspaper this last weekend for the May contest. They spelled one or both of my names incorrectly, but I thought I would "brag" here!

Honestly, I didn't think it the best picture for the month, but it is hard to snap a swallow-tailed kite, so I am happy that folks had appreciation.

I used to have a pair around my house when I lived in Wesley Chapel..

I would tell the kids " Look ! theres a kite!" and they would say " Jeeze Dad...don't you know anything? thats a bird.." good times..:cool:

They should give out something... some simple photo tool or a gift certificate for lunch. I'd bet local restaurants would get behind that.. good advertisement.
