I was threatened with litigation and a possible $100,000 fine by the lawyers that represent Guns & Ammo Magazine on November 11. I got scared and folded, and gave them the http://www.gunsandammoblog.com domain to avoid the fines and litigation.


My blog has moved over to http://www.weapon-blog.com if anyone is interested. All the old content moved over to the new domain name.

That stinks. You would think they would have reserved that domain name, if they were so concerned about it.

And that's why I was so surprised. My work reserves tons of domain names that they don't want anyone using.

My guess it the notice was pure intimidation and you did as they hoped. Wikki a "SLAPP lawsuit." Still, better safe than sorry. Hope the move goes smooth.
